Maira Isabel renowned chef on tv on the Puerto Rico, Latin America, USA and European markets for the past 12 years. Many television shows have showcased her easy to make World dishes with a Caribbean twist. Among this; Bizarre Foods (Travel Channel) . She has being the chef of a number of television shows in Univision, Telemundo and Fox Utilisima. She is known for taking ingredients to a new level where aphrodisiacs, sensuality, and the balance of flavor, textures and colors play a primary roll in her cuisine. A graduate of the acclaimed Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, also holds an MBA in marketing. Additionally she is a best seller cookbook author. Her book "Gourmet Para Todos Los Dias" (Every day gourmet) was # 1 seller for over 10 consecutive weeks. Her second book is on the works. She is the Executive Chef and partner of Guava Restaurant in Culebra, sister Island of Puerto Rico.
