In Ponce, in the 1930s Castillo Serrallés was build. Don Juan Eugenio Serrallés made this architectural gem home to his family during the years of great development of industry in Puerto Rico.
The Puerto Rican architect, Don Pedro Adolfo de Castro and Besosa , embodied in this design, a number of elements taken from Arabic - Spanish world, using the architectural style known as "Spanish - Revival", developed in the United States for the same period.
Inside the house you can see, among other things, a cozy lobby or hallway furniture called "alta época " , an elegant formal living room, several bedrooms, a roof terrace from where a stunning view of the city seen Ponce and the Caribbean Sea, several large towers and an inner courtyard presence unrivaled in Puerto Rico .
